When Pyrex places the warning to avoid extreme temperatures, they mean it! The other day we had a pyrex pan explode. . . literally. Leia was standing right next to it and walked away with nothing more than a really cool looking 2nd degree burn on her neck. She was kind of excited about it, actually, because it looked like a coelacanth. For those of us that don't spend all of our free time researching animals, like Leia, a coelacanth is a prehistoric fish that was believed to be extinct that was found in modern times.

Weird. Not about pyrex (did you set it on a hot burner?)
That she knows that a cho..whatever is... and that she spends her free time researching animals.
